About the Artist

It was love at first sight the day I met the beach. I spent six years living in Florida which is close to the sunny beach. Later I moved to Des Moines where I found my passion of art and started my adventurous and beautiful art journey. I work from my bright and airy studio which looks over the peaceful city. It provides a tranquil environment for me to paint and experiment with different media such as oil paints, liquid leaf, and gold leaf. I gain my inspiration from ocean, light, colors, nature and all the beauty in the world. My paintings are bright, colorful and have often been described as dreamlike. For me, true bliss comes from shedding off all stress and using a canvas to paint vibrant colors that soothe the soul yet stimulate the mind. My process involves envisioning the subject’s sights, sounds, smells and focusing all sensory information into my artwork. My goal is to make more quality pieces with much love, care, and positive energy and let more people to see my work to gain the tranquil inner peace in the busy life we are living in.
